Venabu Fjellhotell

Fjellhotellet Venabu is the perfect place for a really healthy holiday. Venabu is located in the middle of the Norwegian nature and has all the best that Norway can offer of mountains and nature. Of course, there are also great opportunities for skiing and wonderful mountain hikes right on your doorstep. The great atmosphere at the hotel and among the many visitors also helps to ensure a great stay.

About the hotel

Venabu Fjellhotell is built in Norwegian architecture with bright, cabin-style rooms and living areas. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. The dining room has a beautiful view of Rondane and the nearby mountain areas. Downstairs there is a sauna, meeting rooms, TV room, table tennis and pool table.

There is also a large ski room with a lubrication for the skies and a drying room.

The souvenir shop has a selection of handmade items from the area. The hotel has two large lounges where you can sit in front of the fireplace and there is an fully licensed bar. The hotel restaurant is known for good, home-cooked food and great views. Breakfast is served from 8:00-10:00 and dinner from 18:30.

Rooms

The very cosy and typically Norwegian mountain hotel has a total of 56 rooms spread over two wings. All rooms have a private shower and toilet. There is also free WiFi in all rooms. The east wing is the oldest, built in 1969, but renovated several times, and the newer west wing from 1976, also renovated, however, has slightly larger rooms and heated floors in the bathrooms. All rooms are non-smoking. If your dog is coming along for the ride, there are a few rooms where four-legged friends are welcome too, but they must be booked in advance.
